Alu-Cab Canopies Perth
Lightweight Aluminium Canopies for Work and Touring
A great ute canopy needs to do more than cover the tub. It needs to keep your gear secure, give you easy access, and provide a solid base for the rest of your setup.
Big Country 4×4 supplies and fits Alu-Cab canopies in Perth for a wide range of popular 4WD utes. Made from aluminium and designed with practical storage and touring in mind, the Alu-Cab range is well suited to daily drivers, work vehicles and 4WDs being set up for longer trips.
With several canopy options available, we can help you choose a model that suits your vehicle and what you actually plan to carry.
Alu-Cab Explorer Canopy
The Explorer is the straightforward, practical option in the Alu-Cab canopy range.
Solid side doors provide secure storage without adding unnecessary complexity, making the Explorer a good choice for tools, recovery gear, camping equipment and general touring storage.
The canopy is fully welded and sealed, with integrated roof rails and three built-in lights on swivel brackets. Depending on the vehicle application, Explorer canopies are available for Single Cab, Extra Cab and Double Cab utes.
With a dynamic roof load rating of up to 200kg and static rating of up to 400kg, there is also plenty of scope to add compatible roof-mounted equipment.
Alu-Cab Contour Canopy
If you want more choice in how the canopy is configured, have a look at the Alu-Cab Contour.
The Contour is available with solid side panels or windows on compatible applications, so the setup can be matched to how you use the back of the vehicle. Solid panels provide greater privacy for stored gear, while windowed versions provide visibility and a more open feel.
Integrated roof rails, internal lighting, double-sealed doors and a high-level brake light are incorporated into the design. The Contour also has a dynamic roof load rating of up to 200kg and static rating of up to 400kg.
It’s a versatile option for 4WD touring, recreational use and vehicles that still need to earn their keep during the week.
Gear Up Your Canopy
The canopy itself is only part of the setup.
Alu-Cab has developed a wide range of compatible accessories for organising storage and making better use of the available space. Depending on your canopy and vehicle, your setup can include cupboards, kitchen storage, drawer systems, fridge slides, security grids, load bars and other touring accessories.
You can also configure the roof for compatible equipment such as an awning, rooftop tent or additional storage.
Rather than adding accessories simply because they fit, it makes sense to plan the canopy around what you carry, where you travel and how you want to access your gear.
